Why is the new generation going away from religion and spirituality and what should be done to motivate them into religion and spirituality?

The new generation hasn't rejected God. They've rejected inefficiency.

Technology delivers results. Immediately. Religion and spirituality demand years of effort through rituals, dogma, prayer, pooja, meditation and yoga, with little or no benefit in return. So the new generation walked away. This is completely understandable.

But look at what's happened without spirituality. Billions of people are suffering from stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness, fatigue and mental restlessness. Modern science has no concrete solutions, because modern science considers a human being the union of mind and body. It is ignoring the spirit. And that is the missing piece.

The human is not just mind and body. The human is mind, body and spirit. The mind is controlled and operated by spirit, by consciousness. All these mental health problems come from one source — a dysfunctional mind. And the mind becomes dysfunctional when consciousness is low. When consciousness rises, the mind becomes calm, organized, and free from these problems.

This is what the new generation is actually looking for. Not rituals. Not dogma. Real results. Real mental peace. Real freedom from suffering.

So the solution is this: religious and spiritual leaders must come forward and demonstrate through clinical trials that raising consciousness calms the dysfunctional mind and solves these problems. Not faith. Proof. When spirituality can deliver results the way science delivers results, the new generation will come back.
