I have been receiving blessings since February of 2011. I noticed a big change in my sleeping habits at the Chicago Trivedi Retreat. Up until the Chicago Retreat, I slept no more than 4-6 hours a night for over 20 years. I tried many things to improve my sleep (herbal remedies, a teeth guard, removing electronics, etc.). The first night of the Chicago Retreat I slept 9 hours straight through!! Wow! I had not slept that much in over 20+ years! Then, the Sunday night after the retreat, I slept a full 12 (yes, twelve hours) straight through! (Usually I would get up 1-2 times per night to use the bathroom.) Since Chicago, I have been averaging a full 7 hours a night, which is very unusual for me. I feel so much more rested–sometimes I sleep for 4 hours, and then am up for 2 hours and then sleep another 3 hours–and wake up in a very good frame of mind. I feel so deeply rested after these blessings, which I have not had for years (due to a thyroid disease I’ve had since 1983). My focus is much clearer now.
